Attention Readers, This page is kept for Historical reasons, and for chronological reasons. Here you will find the Adventure Log of Marc Howes.

This log is, for the most part, accurate. It represents [by and large] active days spent exploring, hiking, and doing other things outdoors. It is by no means exhaustive, and by no means covers the rest of my life, thoughts, or otherwise. To be absolutely honest, I am keeping this record mostly for myself. I do not think most people will find what I have here all that interesting, but I could be wrong. Other onlookers are of course, always welcomed to read about my experiences, and to join in on future journeys.

The logs here date back to early November 2005. That is not to say I did not go on adventures before that, but the number of adventures increased considerably at that point. I took the initiative, in part because I wanted to promote good health for myself. I also wanted to make life more worth living, as I have found sitting in front of a computer for all waking hours of the day just wasn't doing it for me. As long as I can make life interesting for at least myself I can consider the contents of this journal a success.

If anyone is interested in joining me, or perhaps even better: pitching me an idea, then send me an e-mail. As mentioned above, people are always welcome to join me. I wont ridicule you too badly if you go slower than me, and I wont get that pissed off if you go faster.
