Trail(s) Taken Mountain House

This hike has been dubbed "The Infamous Wachusett Night Hike". This was somewhat spur of the moment mainly to break in my new jeans. The hike was a measly 800 vertical. For those who don't know Wachusett is the highest point in Central MA. It weighs in at a relatively muscular 2006 feet. It is sort of the little brother mountain of Mt Monadnock. Therefore because the Hike was almost exactly like Monadnock (trails were all rock about the same steepness, just not as much vertical) I hereby deem Wachusett "Monadnock JR". Also interestingly enough there is a ski area on the north face that is lit up at night better than a sports stadium. The view from the top was kick ass. I could see Boston's evil glow. One funny thing to note, if you look east you will notice lots and lots of light as far as the eye can see. If you rotate to look to the west you will see a vast expanse of darkness with a few lights. Wachusett is literally at the states "population divide".
