Bennington tr

Hiked Crotched Mountain near Greenfield NH. Or as I call it "kicked in the crotched". The trail (Bennington trail) is a poorly marked piece of crap! There are 3 potential trails at the beginning all unmarked! I took the right one as it turns out but made a fatal wrong turn 1000 feet later which brought me to a pond! I backtracked down 400 feet of hill and found the proper trail finally and marched up the trail to the summit. The trail had lots of unusually slippery rocks which were not the most fun. It was "warm and humid" so I was not terribly comfortable while hiking. There was only one grind of any significant steepness. View on top was okay but limited to W/SW Summit altitude is 2055 total gain 1100 feet and total hike about 1500 cause of my screw up.
