Trail(s) Taken Bucklin, AT/LT, Pico Spur

Hiked Pico Peak which is about 3 miles from Killington. I started at the shelter just below Killington summit and followed the AT/LT along the ridgeline northward for about 3 miles. This bit of trail was surprisingly flat. Minimum altitude along the trail was about 3200'. Broke off onto the Sherburne trail, then onto the Pico Peak spur trail which brought me up to the 3957' Summit. There was no view here either however I did get to see bits of the Ski Area. When finished I followed the AT/LT back to the junction of the Bucklin trail & AT/LT while aiding a lost hiker, then I fired back down Bucklin to my car. As I drove by both peaks they were clear of any fog! D'oh! Ascent up Pico was about 800 feet, hike back required another 800 foot ascent. The entire roudtrip Killington/pico was 12.5 miles.
